- Lead the commercial and technical evaluation of bids; negotiate profitable contracts and close high value sales
- Identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and new product opportunities within the industrial metal and structural steel sectors
- Oversee complete factory operations, production workflows, and supply chain logistics
- Manage the financial health of the business, including budget development, cost control, and forecasting
- Ensure that all metal fabrication and manufacturing processes comply with international safety standards and strict quality control measures
- Recruit, mentor, and manage department heads, including production supervisors, sales engineers, and project managers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (B. Tech) in Mechanical / Civil Engineering or MBA
- 10+ years of proven experience in a similar field (light steel/aluminium fabrication)
- Proficient in Operation of Steel / Aluminium Fabrication plant
- Strong knowledge of steel fabrication codes and standards
- Sound understanding of fabrication techniques and welding processes (SMAW/GMAW/SAW, GAS cutting)
- Exceptional project management and data analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strategic mindset and long term vision capabilities

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute growth strategies to expand market share across sectors like construction, infrastructure, or interior fit outs.
- Build and maintain long term relationships with key industry stakeholders, developers, consultants, and contractors.
- Lead the commercial and technical evaluation of bids; negotiate profitable contracts and close high value sales.
- Identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and new product opportunities within the industrial metal and structural steel sectors.
- Oversee complete factory operations, production workflows, and supply chain logistics.
- Manage the financial health of the business, including budget development, cost control, and forecasting.
- Ensure that all metal fabrication and manufacturing processes comply with international safety standards and strict quality control measures.
- Recruit, mentor, and manage department heads, including production supervisors, sales engineers, and project managers.
- Capable of identifying costs such as indirect, direct, fixed, variable, capital etc in order to arrive at actual unit cost of production.
- Standardize an appropriate organization structure for the factories to enhance efficiency.
- Oversees the manufacture of products, ensuring production, performance, and quality standards are consistently met.
- Reviews factory reports to ensure safety, quality, financial and delivery goals and standards are met.
Preferred Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (B. Tech) in Mechanical / Civil Engineering / MBA.
- 10+ years of proven experience in a similar field.
- Proficient in Operation of Steel / Aluminium Fabrication plant.
- Achievement of annual revenue targets and gross profit margins.
- Value of new contracts signed and successful conversion rate of technical bids into confirmed orders.
- Previous experience in a related manufacturing industry is essential.
- Strong knowledge of steel fabrication codes and standards.
- Sound understanding of fabrication techniques and Welding process including SMAW/GMAW/SAW welding, and GAS cutting.
- Exceptional project management and data analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strategic mindset & long term vision capabilities.
- Capable of problem solving, decision making and failure analysis.
