Job Purpose
The Business Development Manager – Hybrid Access is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities within Divetechs Rope Access and Industrial Inspections portfolio.
The role focuses on revenue generation, client engagement, tender development, and strategic account growth, working closely with Operations, QHSE, and Technical teams to convert Divetechs specialist access capabilities into sustainable commercial success.
This position plays a key role in strengthening Divetechs market presence across ports, offshore assets, industrial facilities, and critical infrastructure, ensuring alignment with AD Ports’ strategic objectives and internal circular-economy initiatives.

Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within rope access, industrial inspections, and hybrid access services.
- Develop and execute a structured BD plan aligned with Divetechs annual revenue targets and growth strategy.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline across ports, offshore, marine, and industrial sectors.
- Drive repeat business and framework agreements with existing clients.
- Support diversification into new service lines such as NDT, asset integrity, UAV inspections, and advanced access technologies.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a key commercial interface with:
- AD Ports Group entities
- Port tenants and operators
- Offshore operators & EPC contractors
- Asset owners and industrial clients
- Conduct client meetings, technical presentations, and site visits to understand client needs and position Divetech solutions.
- Strengthen Divetechs reputation as a trusted hybrid access partner through proactive engagement and solution-driven proposals
Tendering, Proposals & Commercial Support
- Lead and support the preparation of:
- Expressions of Interest (EOIs)
- Pre-qualification submissions
- Technical & commercial proposals
- Budgetary estimates and rate cards
- Work closely with Operations and QHSE teams to develop:
- Access methodologies
- Manpower strategies
- Risk assessments and execution plans
- Support contract negotiations, clarifications, and post-award handovers.
Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, pricing strategies, and client demand.
- Identify emerging opportunities within ports, offshore energy, industrial inspections, and asset life-extension projects.
- Provide feedback to senior management on service gaps, pricing competitiveness, and capability development.
- Support strategic partnerships, SLAs, and joint initiatives that enhance Divetechs Hybrid Access offering
Internal Coordination & Governance
- Coordinate closely with:
• Hybrid Access Operations Team
- QHSE Department
• Procurement & Finance
- Ensure proposals and commitments are operationally achievable, compliant, and commercially sound.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, opportunity tracking, and reporting
Qualifications
- Higher Secondary
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business (preferred).
- Verbal communication in English.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
- Arabic is advantageous but not mandatory.
- IRATA Rope Access exposure is highly desirable.
- 6 – 8 years’ experience in BD within marine/offshore/industrial sectors.
- Strong commercial, negotiation and communication skills.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of rope access operations, inspection methodologies, and access-driven execution constraints.
- Proven experience winning work within ADNOC, UAE ports, offshore, oil & gas, and industrial environments.
- Ability to translate technical capability into clear commercial value propositions.
- Familiarity with AD Ports operating environment is highly advantageous.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Confident communicator with technical credibility.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and results-focused.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with operational teams.
- High integrity, professionalism, and alignment with safety-first culture.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability.
