Job purpose
The Business Development Manager drives revenue growth and expands market presence.
The role collaborates with the VP and Head of Business Development to plan and execute sales strategies.
The 2026 annual revenue target is $500K in net spread.
Job accountabilities
- Prospect and close profitable new key accounts, contracts, and deals.
- Win strategic new business and help achieve agreed organizational targets.
- Transition new accounts into relationship management through seamless handover.
- Support business development activities that build a sustainable business.
- Complete market intelligence on large upcoming acquiring opportunities.
Additional responsibilities
- Plan and develop a sales pipeline of key prospects to achieve annual business goals.
- Support strategy across products by identifying segments, accounts, customer propositions, and key messages.
- Learn and professionally present products and services to potential customers.
- Develop relationships with prospective customers to win profitable business.
- Negotiate customer terms to maximize long-term profitability.
- Present to potential clients through meetings, telephone calls, and email.
