Role Overview
A reputable chemical distributor is recruiting a Business Development Specialist for its team in Dubai.
The role focuses on portfolio growth, customer acquisition, sales targets, customer relationships, and market development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a sales pipeline to drive portfolio growth and acquire new customers.
- Build long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Identify new business opportunities and achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Prepare regular sales and business development reports.
- Coordinate with suppliers on technical requirements, product specifications, and purchasing matters.
- Provide technical customer support and resolve product-related issues.
- Conduct market research on opportunities, customer needs, and market trends.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum 2–5 years of sales experience.
- B2B experience with chemicals used in the food industry.
- Strong network within the UAE, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, and Bahrain markets.
- Valid UAE Driver's License.
- Excellent negotiation, forecasting, and selling skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Arabic is preferred.
