Role overview
The role supports business development as a customer-oriented Field Application Specialist in the laboratory, biotech, and life science instrument industry.
The position involves field engagement with biopharma, CRO, CDMO, and academic customers.
The role collaborates with sales managers to provide on-site support, product demonstrations, and technical expertise.
Key responsibilities
- Qualify leads and gather customer requirements through field and on-site interactions.
- Conduct customer meetings and provide detailed product information about cell biology and genomics solutions.
- Support sales managers during customer meetings and transfer field leads to inside sales.
- Deliver on-site product demonstrations tailored to customer needs.
- Make courtesy calls, gather customer feedback, and identify relationship opportunities.
- Track competitor activity, market trends, and pricing strategies and share insights internally.
- Update CRM records with detailed information from field visits.
Products and domains
- Relevant solutions include imaging and microscopy, microplate instrumentation, flow cytometers, real-time cell analyzers, and Seahorse analyzers.
