Position Summary

  • The Business Development Engineer will identify new business opportunities, develop client relationships, generate project enquiries, secure tender opportunities, and support revenue growth.
  • The role is key to expanding the client base and strengthening relationships with EPC contractors, consultants, project owners, and industrial clients.

Key Responsibilities – Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the UAE.
  • Generate project enquiries, RFQs, and tender opportunities.
  • Develop relationships with EPC contractors, consultants, project owners, and industrial clients.
  • Conduct client meetings, company presentations, and business development activities.
  • Promote the company's services and technical capabilities.
  • Maintain and manage a healthy sales pipeline.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long term relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Understand client requirements and coordinate suitable solutions internally.
  • Ensure timely follow up of enquiries, quotations, and proposals.
  • Support client retention and account development initiatives.

Tender & Proposal Coordination

  • Coordinate with estimation and technical teams for proposal preparation.
  • Support the submission of technical and commercial proposals.
  • Follow up on submitted quotations and tender opportunities.
  • Participate in commercial discussions and bid clarification meetings when required.

Market Development

  • Monitor market trends, upcoming projects, and industry developments.
  • Identify opportunities within Oil & Gas, Marine, Industrial, Infrastructure, and Construction sectors.
  • Provide market intelligence and business insights to management.

Experience

  • Minimum 3–8 years of relevant experience in Business Development, Technical Sales, or Account Management.
  • Experience within one or more of: Passive Fire Protection, Fire Stopping, Protective Coatings, Industrial Coatings, Corrosion Protection, Oil & Gas, Marine, Industrial Projects, EPC Contracting.

Qualification
