Main Responsibilities
- Support client account teams opportunity development as a Technical Pre-Sales, matching customer complex challenges into efficient deliverable solutions.
- Design architecture of a solution to be proposed to the customer.
- Design end-to-end transformation journey of a customer, from the legacy to the cutting edge.
- Estimate the sizing and effort of the delivery team needed to implement the solution, setting the economics baseline for the sales and delivery of the project.
- Write down technical (HLD, LLD) and sales proposal documents that fit the designed solution into customer needs, including gathered data during the sales cycle and assumptions. This includes driving the solution feasibility (technical and costing) with client Technology and Partners when required.
- Take technical leadership of a project, making deep architecture decisions and working in the delivery as a member of the team.
- Lead fluent verbal and written communication with customer, showing the value and relevance of your solution to their business.
- Deliver Technical Presentations pitching client solution and benefits to customers.
- Define the Data Center and Cloud Managed Services Portfolio, that will be further standardized in client product Catalogue.
- Train client Sales & Delivery teams in new technologies and cloud offerings.
- Building hosting solutions based on Azure, AWS, GCP, VMware or Private clouds and technologies.
- Interlock with client Technology Partners leveraging the best potential of each company in benefit of our customers.
- The Solution Architect is responsible for the overall integrity of solution so must have knowledge of existing system set, the company's overall systems strategy and any applicable IT standards.
- Conduct DC and Application Assessments to deliver the cloud migration journey roadmap and TCO to client customers.
Minimum Experience And Essential Knowledge
- Minimum 8 years of related work experience in Solution Architect role for Service Provider.
- Strong Microsoft Azure knowledge in infrastructure and application resources in both IaaS and PaaS flavors: Virtual Machines, Storage, App Service, Functions, Batch, Automation, CDN, Caches, relational and non-relational databases, Site Recovery, backup, monitor.
- Previous experience with GCP, AWS, VMware technologies including but not limited to DC and App assessments to migration to Public clouds.
- Strong skills in Azure networking: Virtual Networks, Gateways, Load Balancers, Express Route, Private Link, VPN, Front Door.
- Strong skills in Azure migrations for both, Lift & Shift and rehost/refactor strategies. Familiarity with Azure Migrate is expected.
- Strong knowledge of DC and App Assessment tools with a previous hands-on experience.
- Experience in providing solution for SAP, Oracle hosting would be a plus.
- Good know how on network/connectivity, security, storage and backup technologies to build solutions to meet customer requirements.
- Experience in delivering Data Centre solutions (colocation, power, cooling).
- Experience in handling solutions for large bids, with experience in building costing models.
- Excellent oral and written communications in English is a must, Arabic is considered a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure in dynamic and challenging environment and support to manage multiple parallel complex initiatives.
- Ability to be structured, organized and have strong time-management skills with proven track record on delivering results.
- Ability think out of the box, to Innovative and be creative thinker.
Education
- Min. Bachelor degree. IT/Telecom, Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• AWS Certified Solution Architect Professional
- Additional certifications is a plus CISSP, Data Center CDCP/CDCE is a plus, ML, AI.
