Business Analyst, Technical

Work Location

Role Overview

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Participate in technical and operational discussions with vendors and act as a subject matter expert for internal teams.
• Assess vendor integration feasibility and complexity.
• Elicit and document business needs and requirements for new and improved vendor integrations.
• Assist product managers in defining the reselling model.
• Conduct partner interviews and participate in escalation calls.
• Propose platform changes to streamline vendor integrations and improve the product acquisition experience.
• Participate in prioritizing integrations and platform modifications.
• Propose platform and process changes to improve operational efficiency.
• Define success criteria and participate in acceptance testing.
• Work with development and operational delivery teams throughout the integration phase.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, information technology, or equivalent experience.
• Two to five years of experience in product ownership, functional analysis, business analysis, or product management.
• Excellent spoken and written English skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to assess situations from a broad business perspective.
• Interest in high technology and willingness to learn.
• Ability to demonstrate leadership and positively influence collaborative teams.
• Results-oriented and able to propose realistic but ambitious business strategies.
• Customer-centric and business-focused approach with confidence speaking to clients.
• Ability to work with developers, engineers, architects, quality assurance, and operations teams.
• Ability to ensure requirements are understood and implementation plans align with expectations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a SaaS vendor or reseller ecosystem is considered an asset.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Postman, REST APIs, Python, or Power Automate is considered an asset.

Compensation

• Annual base salary ranges from $81,270 to $116,100.
• The final compensation package is tailored to the selected candidate’s qualifications and expertise.
