Responsibilities
- Support partnership between Operations Technology and GWO Collateral Management to add value and recommend efficiency improvements
- Contribute to delivery of Level 1 production support, maintenance support, vendor management, system enhancements, bug fixes, UAT, and resolution of complex problems
- Keep appraised of scheduled releases, ensure business lines are aware of changes and impacts, and schedule resources for testing
- Ensure maintenance of stable and secure processing platforms per Bank IT control and risk policies
- Work with Scotia Technology teams and external service providers to deliver Change in accordance with systems strategy
- Support multi disciplinary projects, ensuring regulatory, compliance, audit, client, and vendor issues are addressed
Requirements
- In depth understanding of collateral management domain and market practices, with experience of Colline (Vermeg), Margining process (IM, VM, REPO) and other Capital Markets trading environments
- 5+ years of Business Analysis experience
- Conceptual understanding of platform design, data and workflows, and ability to produce and maintain documentation
- Ability to gather and analyze data from various sources and use BI tools to support decision making
- Experience working with business partners to identify, assess, and document business requirements into BRDs

The Team
- The GCME Securities Operations Technology team provides technology support for business applications and processes underpinning Global Wholesale Operations (GWO) globally.
- Domains include collateral management, new issue trading, and core Broadridge Book of Record and document management systems.
The Role
- We are seeking a Business Analyst Specialist (Collateral Management or World Markets) to support Collateral Management platforms.
- The incumbent ensures steady state delivery of Colline and related application functions within defined business SLOs.
