Role overview
The Business Analyst reports to the VP of Commercial Sales and Strategy.
The role reviews business processes, bridges departmental gaps, stabilizes systems, supports end users, and identifies continuous improvement opportunities.
The position is hands-on and operationally focused.
Business support
- Provide daily application support for enterprise and project delivery systems.
- Act as the ongoing first point of contact for business users.
- Resolve issues related to cost management, progress tracking, time capture, forecasting, and change workflows.
- Classify issues as user, process, data, or system problems and escalate appropriately.
- Prioritize issues by business impact and operational urgency.
- Coordinate with IT teams, vendors, and integration partners.
- Validate fixes and communicate resolutions to users.
- Support onboarding of new projects and users onto business systems.
Process governance
- Reinforce standardized processes and consistent system usage across the organization.
- Identify recurring issues, root causes, and process improvement opportunities.
- Support adherence to approved processes, controls, and governance standards.
