Business Analyst

Role Purpose

Role Context

• The role is based within the India Finance Transformation Programme and reports to the Programme Manager for Finance Transformation.
• The position will expand into broader digital platform support across document management, client portals, reporting platforms, and enterprise integrations.

Market Rollout Support

• Support deployment of standardized global workflows using the enterprise workflow platform.
• Gather local regulatory, language, and operational requirements and prepare localized templates.
• Coordinate workflow design workshops, UAT, data validation, go-live checklists, hypercare, issue tracking, and status reporting.

Project Coordination

• Coordinate cross-functional activities across programme teams, market leads, and the platform vendor.
• Manage workshop scheduling, pre-work distribution, follow-up actions, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and governance materials.
• Support the Programme Manager with planning, sequencing, and prioritization decisions.

Platform Administration

• Progressively own workflow platform configuration, including work types, task templates, automations, custom fields, users, teams, and permissions.
• Configure email triage rules, automated assignments, and notification settings.
• Support SharePoint folder structures, test configurations, identify defects, and coordinate vendor resolution.

Support and Improvement

• Provide first- and second-line support for platform queries, triage user issues, and escalate complex configuration matters.
• Develop user guides, FAQs, quick-reference materials, and support training and in-market champion networks.
• Monitor workflow performance, gather feedback, recommend enhancements, identify automation opportunities, and standardize practices across markets.

Wider Digital Platform Support

• Support document management, client portal, reporting, enterprise integration, and future digital tools across Vistra’s ecosystem.
• Contribute to a centralized Digital Transformation Support Model and act as a bridge between business users and technology teams.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Three to five years of experience in business analysis, project coordination, or operations and systems support roles.
• Experience with enterprise software implementations or rollouts, workflow or project platforms, and SharePoint or document management systems.
• Professional services, accounting, tax, financial services, corporate services, multi-market, or cross-border experience is preferred or advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Platform configuration and administration, process mapping, documentation, SharePoint permissions management, data analysis, reporting, UAT, test cases, defect tracking, and SOP development.
• Basic understanding of enterprise integrations, including APIs, connectors, and data flows, is a plus.
• Project management and Lean Six Sigma or process improvement certifications are pluses.

Language and Competencies

• Fluent English is required.
• The role requires strong communication, stakeholder management, structured problem-solving, attention to detail, adaptability, collaboration across time zones, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• The successful candidate should be curious, proactive, resilient, and willing to learn new platforms and technologies.
