Role Overview
CGI Montréal is seeking a Business Analyst for a Risk Management and Compliance team.
The role supports process mapping, operational procedure documentation, corporate procedures, and internal controls.
The position is suitable for a junior to intermediate-level analyst.
Work Model
- The work model is hybrid, with four days per week onsite in Montréal.
Future Duties and Responsibilities
- Map and document business processes using Visio process maps and organizational standards.
- Gather stakeholder information through meetings, interviews, and observation to document current-state processes.
- Support operational procedure documentation.
- Update corporate procedures and internal controls.
- Validate process maps and documentation with process owners.
- Ensure documentation is consistent, clear, and standardized.
- Highlight inconsistencies, redundancies, and gaps in documented processes.
Required Qualifications
- Junior to intermediate experience in process management, risk management, or internal controls.
- Demonstrated experience in process mapping.
- Proficiency with Visio or a similar process modeling tool.
- Ability to produce clear, structured, and rigorous documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple processes and documents simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently while following standards and templates.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, communication, and adaptability.
- Strong spoken and written French and English communication skills.
Assets
- Good understanding of COSO, SOX, or equivalent internal control frameworks is an asset.
Compensation
- The estimated compensation range is CAD 50,000 to CAD 100,000.
