Role Overview
CGI Montréal is seeking a Business Analyst for a Risk Management and Compliance team.
The role supports process mapping, procedure documentation, internal controls, and stakeholder validation.
Workplace
- The work model is hybrid, with four days per week onsite in Montréal.
Responsibilities
- Map and document business processes using Visio in accordance with documentation standards.
- Gather information through stakeholder meetings, interviews, and observation to document current-state processes.
- Document operational procedures and update corporate procedures and internal controls.
- Validate process maps and documentation with process owners before finalization.
- Ensure consistency, clarity, and standardization across process documentation.
- Identify inconsistencies, redundancies, and gaps in documented processes.
Required Qualifications
- Junior to intermediate experience in process management, risk management, and/or internal controls.
- Demonstrated process mapping experience and proficiency with Visio or a similar process modeling tool.
- Ability to produce clear, structured, rigorous documentation and manage multiple processes or documents.
- Comfort interacting with stakeholders, working independently, and following organizational standards and templates.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, adaptability, and communication skills in spoken and written French and English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Good understanding of internal control concepts such as COSO, SOX, or equivalent frameworks is an asset.
Compensation
- The stated estimated pay range is 50,000 to 100,000 dollars; the source does not specify a compensation cadence.
