About the job BUSINESS ANALYST - CORPORATE & ISLAMIC BANKING
About the Role We are looking for a motivated Business Analyst to support the delivery of digital banking products across our Corporate and Islamic Banking divisions.
Working closely with the Lead BA and technology teams, you will help translate regulatory requirements and business needs into clear user stories and functional specifications that guide what gets built.
What You'Ll Do
- Support analysis and documentation of business requirements for corporate banking digital products
- Interpret SAMA regulatory requirements and translate them into user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Map customer user journeys across key corporate banking touchpoints
- Participate in stakeholder workshops to elicit, document, and validate requirements
- Maintain and refine backlog items in collaboration with the Lead BA and Product Owner
- Produce clear process flows, use cases, and functional specifications
- Support UAT by defining test scenarios and collaborating with QA teams
- Stay current on SAMA regulatory updates and flag relevant changes for impact assessment
What You'Ll Bring
- 3–6 years of business analysis experience, preferably within banking or financial services
- Working knowledge of SAMA regulations and the Saudi banking environment
- Familiarity with Islamic banking concepts: Murabaha, Ijara, and Tawarruq
- Understanding of corporate banking products: trade finance, cash management, and lending
- Ability to write well-structured user stories and acceptance criteria in Agile environments
- Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, or Confluence
- Strong communication skills; Arabic is a strong advantage
- Nice to Have
- Exposure to SAMA regulatory submissions or compliance-driven product changes
- Familiarity with core banking platforms such as Temenos or Oracle FLEXCUBE
- Experience supporting digital onboarding or KYC process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related discipline
- BCS, IIBA ECBA/CCBA, or equivalent certification desirable
