The Business Analyst will bridge business needs and technology solutions on strategic initiatives and transformation projects.
The initial engagement is a six-month freelance contract with potential extension based on project requirements and performance.
Location and workplace
- The role is listed across Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Fujairah in the UAE.
- The working arrangement is hybrid, combining onsite and remote work.
Key responsibilities
- Gather, document, and validate business requirements with stakeholders.
- Analyze processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions across business units.
- Prepare BRDs, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
- Coordinate with development, testing, and project teams.
- Support change management, user adoption, and User Acceptance Testing.
- Monitor progress, risks, and issues, and provide status updates.
- Contribute to process documentation and continuous improvement.
Required qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least four years of Business Analyst experience in technology, digital transformation, or IT projects.
- Strong business requirements, process mapping, documentation, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
Preferred qualifications
- CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, Agile BA, or equivalent certification.
- Enterprise transformation, business process improvement, data analysis, reporting, dashboarding, or change management experience.
- Previous experience working in the UAE or GCC region.
