Overview

• To safely drive City Sightseeing/Sharjah Boats Tour vehicles and operate boats, ensuring smooth and timely transportation of
• passengers on both land and water.
• To provide exceptional customer service, promoting the City Sightseeing/Sharjah Boats Tour and local attractions.
• To maintain both vehicles and boats in excellent condition, ensuring safety and operational efficiency.
• To promote a seamless customer experience, combining land and water tour services.
• Ability to multitask effectively, responding to the dynamic needs of the company and ensuring smooth operations across both driving /boating activities.
• Safely operate City Sightseeing vehicles/Sharjah Boats Tour-boats, adhering to all traffic, maritime, and safety
• regulations.
• Ensure timely arrivals and departures, both on land and water, according to the operational schedule.
• Maintain safety and comfort for all passengers during their journey.
• To provide exceptional customer service by offering a warm welcome and fond farewell to customers, highlighting the products and services
• on offer, identifying individual needs to ensure they receive the very best value for money from their purchases.
• To understand the City Sightseeing/Sharjah Boats Tour product and the ability to provide accurate information regarding our product and other products we may sell.
• To entertain and assist customers through the engaging sharing of interesting and relevant information and advice about Sharjah as a city. e.g. the history, relevant attractions, good food outlets, and good shopping areas.
• Keep up to date with road closures, diversions or special events that affect the service. This is done by reading notices, newsletters, attending briefings.
• Offer engaging commentary about the tour route, local attractions, and points of interest.
• Maintain a friendly and professional attitude, ensuring customers feel valued.
• Cash notes and any other suspicious notes must be checked to ensure they are genuine legal tender.
• Credit cards – The processing of credit card transactions.
• The checking of tickets already issued (time, the price paid) to ensure that no passenger travels either without paying or without a ticket.
• The reconciliation of revenue and tickets collected with a waybill (from the ticket machine allocated) at the end of each day.
• Reporting of any suspicious behaviour or activity by customers or staff members.
• Be a brand ambassador for City Sightseeing Sharjah Tours/Sharjah Boats Tours and Shurooq.
• Be responsible for the consistent delivery of the brand to external partners.
• Represent City Sightseeing/Sharjah Boats Tour with pride and professionalism, promoting the company in a positive manner.
• Ensure you are always wearing the full, clean, and correct uniform during duty hours.
• Maintain a polished, approachable demeanour when interacting with customers and colleagues.
