About the Role
Fitness Terminal is seeking a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt Coach to plan and conduct BJJ classes for all levels. You will teach techniques, ensure safety, monitor progress, and support member retention.

Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct safe, engaging, and structured BJJ classes for both beginners and advanced students
- Teach fundamental and advanced BJJ techniques, drills, sparring, and competition strategies
- Ensure all classes start and finish on time and follow the academy schedule
- Maintain a safe training environment by enforcing academy rules, discipline, and hygiene standards
- Supervise students during training and ensure proper warm up and cool down routines
- Monitor students’ progress and provide individual feedback to help them improve
- Prepare students for grading, competitions, and special events when required
- Welcome new members, introduce them to the academy, and assist with trial classes
- Encourage member retention by building positive relationships with students and maintaining high class attendance
- Promote teamwork, respect, discipline, and sportsmanship both on and off the mats
- Work closely with the sales and management team to support member conversions and retention
- Participate in academy events, seminars, workshops, demonstrations, and marketing activities when requested
Requirements
- Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) is mandatory
- Minimum of 3 years of coaching/instructing experience in BJJ
- Experience teaching both children and adults of different skill levels
- Strong technical knowledge of BJJ fundamentals and advanced techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate, mentor, and inspire students
- Current First Aid/CPR certification is an advantage
- Competition experience (as an athlete and/or coach) is preferred
- Professional, punctual, reliable, and team oriented
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and academy events as required

- AED4,000.00 AED6,000.00 per month
