About the Role
AstraZeneca is seeking a Brand Manager for R&I in Riyadh. You will lead brand strategy, drive marketing projects, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver business growth. Ideal for candidates with marketing exposure, strong analytical skills, and a pharmacy or medical background.

Responsibilities
- Lead the Brand Team and influence cross functional team members to develop the most robust approach and monitor execution
- Identify market and brand opportunities across customers and channels (including digital channels) in a highly competitive environment and develop local strategies
- Adapt global brand strategy to meet local business needs & market insights
- Support business growth through management and implementation of brand marketing projects
- Assist in setting marketing activities for the achievement of short and long term business objectives
- Ensure that all strategy is underpinned by consumer research to determine needs of target audience
- Support LRP preparation and overall budget process
- Collaborate with other members of the Pharma Sales & Marketing leadership team to deliver competitive advantage
- Support the sales force in product training and strategy orientation
- Develop sound business partnerships with all internal, external and global stakeholders
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in the current role at AZ KSA with strong understanding of AZ ways of working, Code of Ethics, and governance
- Solid performance ratings with no critical compliance flags; management endorsement for expanded brand ownership
- Marketing exposure is preferred (shadowing, Telescope assignment, or degree)
- Hands on involvement in at least one AZ launch or indication expansion; familiarity with AZ launch excellence governance and gate reviews
- Informal Leadership: Coaches peer, supports field enablement, and drives cross functional execution without formal line management; demonstrates stakeholder influence
- Enterprise Orientation: Aligns brand decisions to broader therapy area and AZ priorities, shares best practices across brands/teams
- Same therapy area/specialty experience is preferred
- Spoken & written English proficiency is a must
- Pharmacy, Dental or medical background is a must
- Digital experience is required
