About the Role
AstraZeneca seeks a Brand Manager for Oncology in the Gulf region to develop and execute marketing strategies and promotional plans. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and pharmaceutical marketing experience, with at least 2 years in Oncology/Specialty care in Gulf for external candidates.

- Develops and manages the promotion/communication budget and project timelines
- Collaborates with brand team to make a convincing case for appropriate budget and expectations for marketing opportunities
- Maintains awareness of competitive activity in consumer marketing
- Manages overall relationships with advertising agencies and other vendors
- Responsible for the implementation of promotional/communication strategies, plans and programs in support of brand strategies and objectives
- Provides input into Communication Planning and Operational Planning
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (e.g. Pharmaceuticals or science)
- For Internal Candidates: Minimum 5 years of Experience in pharmaceutical industry, with at least one year in AstraZeneca
- For External Candidates: Minimum 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing roles in Oncology/ Specialty care in Gulf

Role Summary
- Plans, creates, and produces marketing, advertising, and sales promotion materials to implement marketing strategies and sales objectives.
- Produces informational material for the sales force and for communications media.
