Responsibilities
- Develop and/or facilitate the development and creation of the promotional plan and programs and ensure their consistency with the brand strategy
- Develop and manage the promotion/communication budget and project timelines
- Collaborate with brand team to make a convincing case for appropriate budget and expectations for marketing opportunities
- Maintain awareness of competitive activity in consumer marketing
- Manage overall relationships with advertising agencies and other vendors
- Responsible for the implementation of promotional/communication strategies, plans and programs in support of brand strategies and objectives
- Provide input into Communication Planning and Operational Planning
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (e.g. Pharmaceuticals or science)
- For Internal Candidates: Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry, with at least one year in AstraZeneca
- For External Candidates: Minimum 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing roles in Oncology/Specialty care in Gulf
- Strategic Thinking: Develop short & long term brand strategies
- Communication Skills: Engage effectively with internal & external stakeholders
- Project Management: Organize and manage multiple projects to align with brand objectives

Role Summary
- Plans, creates, and produces marketing, advertising, and sales promotion materials to implement marketing strategies and sales objectives.
- Produces informational material for the sales force and for communications media.
What you’ll do
