- Develop annual and long term brand strategies for assigned perfume brands
- Define brand positioning, target consumer segments, and growth opportunities across African markets
- Prepare annual marketing calendars and business plans
- Analyze consumer behaviour, fragrance trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics
- Conduct market research and identify opportunities by country and channel
- Recommend portfolio expansion, SKU rationalization, and pricing strategies
- Coordinate new product development and launches
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns (ATL, BTL, digital, influencer, PR, trade marketing)
- Work closely with sales teams to drive sell in and sell out performance
- Manage marketing budgets efficiently and track ROI
- Monitor KPIs and prepare monthly business reviews
Requirements
- MBA preferred
- 5–8+ years of experience in brand management, preferably in beauty, fragrances, cosmetics, or luxury brands
- Experience managing multiple African markets is highly preferred
- Strong analytical, commercial, and project management skills
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and marketing analytics tools

Brand Manager
- Lead the development and execution of brand strategies for the perfume portfolio across African markets to drive sales growth, market share, brand equity, profitability, and successful product launches while ensuring alignment with Brand business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Brand Strategy & Planning: Develop annual and long term brand strategies for assigned perfume brands. Define brand positioning, target consumer segments, and growth opportunities across African markets. Prepare annual marketing calendars and business plans.
- Market & Consumer Insights: Analyze consumer behaviour, fragrance trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics. Conduct market research and identify opportunities by country and channel. Translate insights into actionable brand initiatives.
- Product Portfolio Management: Recommend portfolio expansion, SKU rationalization, and pricing strategies. Coordinate new product development and launches.
- Marketing & Communication: Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns. Manage ATL, BTL, digital, influencer, PR, and trade marketing activities. Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints.
- Commercial & Sales Support: Work closely with sales teams and drive sell in and sell out performance. Develop promotional plans and retail activation programs. Monitor sales performance and recommend corrective actions.
- Africa Market Management: Coordinate with Brand Principal and country managers across African markets. Adapt global/regional brand strategies to local market needs. Ensure compliance with local regulations and market requirements.
- Budget & P&L Management: Manage marketing budgets efficiently. Track ROI on marketing investments. Support forecasting and profitability improvement initiatives.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with supply chain, regulatory, finance, sales, creative agencies, and distributors. Lead cross functional projects to achieve business objectives.
- Reporting & Performance Tracking: Monitor KPIs and prepare monthly business reviews. Present performance updates and strategic recommendations to management.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA preferred.
- 5–8+ years of experience in brand management, preferably in beauty, fragrances, cosmetics, or luxury brands.
- Experience managing multiple African markets is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical, commercial, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and marketing analytics tools.
