- Own all external communications: press releases, media briefings, crisis communications, and corporate announcements
- Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and PR agencies
- Lead crisis communications planning and act as first point of escalation for brand reputation issues
- Develop and own creative content strategies for all primary social media channels
- Build, maintain, and execute comprehensive posting calendars
- Coordinate with external creative/social agency to produce high quality visual assets
- Lead influencer and blogger outreach
- Utilize social media management and AI tools (Hootsuite, Claude) to schedule content and monitor performance
- Run social listening and sentiment analysis
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in brand management, corporate communications, or PR, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
- Proven track record of managing brand identity and external communications for a consumer facing brand
- Strong PR and media relations skills
- Expertise in social media strategy and community management across Instagram, TikTok, X, and LinkedIn
- Experience working with creative teams and agencies to produce brand consistent output
- Excellent written communication skills in English; Arabic is a significant advantage
- Experience in ride hailing, mobility, fintech, or high growth digital platform preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field

Role Overview
- The Brand & Communications Manager owns Badrgo's brand positioning, external reputation, PR, and all social media channels across multiple markets, multiple locations, and multiple products.
- This role is responsible for ensuring a consistent, compelling brand presence across every market and touchpoint from corporate communications and press to social media communities and influencer engagement.
- The Brand & Comms Manager uses tools such as Hootsuite to manage social media operations at scale, works closely with Creative, Digital, and the Head of Marketing, and contributes to the company's integrated marketing plan.
Key Responsibilities
- A. Brand Strategy & Governance: Develop and maintain Badrgo's brand strategy, visual identity guidelines, and tone of voice across all markets.
- Ensure consistent brand application across campaigns, the app, website, offline touchpoints, and partner materials.
- Conduct regular brand audits and update guidelines in response to market feedback, product evolution, or competitive positioning shifts.
- B. Corporate Communications & PR: Own all external communications: press releases, media briefings, crisis communications, and corporate announcements.
- Coordinate closely with the Head of Marketing and regulatory/government stakeholders on sensitive or strategic messaging.
- Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and PR agencies across Badrgo's operating markets.
- Lead crisis communications planning and act as the first point of escalation for any brand reputation issues.
- C. Social Media Management: Develop and own creative content strategies for all primary social media channels Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), Snapchat, Facebook, and LinkedIn tailored to Badrgo's rider, driver, and partner audiences across Qatar and regional markets.
- Build, maintain, and execute comprehensive posting calendars covering organic content, campaigns, national events, product launches, and partnership activations; ensure the calendar is approved at least 2 weeks in advance.
- Coordinate closely with the external creative/social agency to brief, review, and approve the production of high quality visual assets including static graphics, short form video, and motion content ensuring brand consistency and on time delivery.
- Lead influencer and blogger outreach: identify, vet, negotiate, and manage relationships with bloggers, content creators, and brand ambassadors relevant to Badrgo's rider and driver audiences in Qatar and other markets.
- Utilize social media management and AI tools (including Hootsuite, Claude, and equivalent platforms) to schedule content, monitor performance, automate workflows, and improve content efficiency across channels.
Qualifications & Skills
- 8+ years of experience in brand management, corporate communications, or PR, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record of managing brand identity and external communications for a consumer facing brand.
- Strong PR and media relations skills experience handling media enquiries, press releases, and crisis communications.
- Expertise in social media strategy and community management across Instagram, TikTok, X, and LinkedIn.
- Experience working with creative teams and agencies to produce brand consistent output.
- Excellent written communication skills in English; Arabic is a significant advantage for Qatar market communications.
