  • Job Purpose:
  • The main purpose is to execute Logistics operations / administrative functions, coordinate the Goods In/ Goods Out flow of GIGO facility and provide efficient service to the customer in the best way within given time frames.
  • The booking agent is also responsible for advising concessions partners about booking of specific time slots and aims to minimize congestion and waiting times at docks and warehouses thus helps efficient flow of logistics operation.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for receiving and verifying of the booked Qty of pallets/ cages and update Logistics system accordingly.
  • Ensure that the pallets/ cages received from concessionaire’s suppliers are according to the standard dimension, products are not damaged, received in well-packed manner .
  • Responsible in preparing proper documents pertaining to any discrepancies.
  • Ensure that material is handled, preserved, and stored in accordance with nature of goods hence to avoid any potential complaints from concessions.
  • Create appropriate type of booking on concessionaire's behalf for any deliveries pre-confirmed bookings.
  • Responsible for all database transactions in the Logistics Management Portal system related to the receipt, issuance, and distribution of Goods In & Goods Out.
  • Maintain standards of the highest quality and compliance with HSE requirements.
  • Monitoring the daily deliveries for all concession partners and completing their deliveries on time without any complaint.
  • Ascertain areas of concern and report to Operations Supervisor to resolve these as effectively as possible.
  • Ensure the EHS policy & objectives of the company are well understood, implemented, communicated, maintained, and monitored regularly.
  • Comply, implement, and follow EHSMS requirement as per Abu Dhabi Occupational health and safety (OSHAD) / ISO 18001:2007.
  • Comply with ADPORTS QHSSE policy and be responsible for my own health and safety.
  • Take a responsibility to the employees that working under you.
  • Ensure workplace is safe and free of OHS hazards.
  • Cooperate with Noatum management with respect to any instructions or an action taken by Noatum to protect employees, environment, and properties or any other EHS requirement.
  • Report incident, injuries, or any near misses to your direct line manager.
  • Take an initiative action if the EHS system been not followed or breached.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Logistics operation preferably in an airport environment.
  • College degree Educated or equivalent.
  • Good computer skills on multiple platforms.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good English communication skills with knowledge of a sub-continent Asian languages.
  • Work experience required: 03 years of experience in the related field.
