Position Details

  • Position: B&I OPEX Head – KSA
  • Product Line: Building & Infrastructure
  • Reporting to: B&I Regional / Area Product Line

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Specialty: Civil Engineer / Architecture / MEP
  • Education: University Degree in Engineering (Architecture, Civil, Structural, MEP); MBA preferred
  • Training: PMP, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Industry specific technical certifications
  • Technical knowledge: Advanced knowledge of international construction standards, regulatory compliance, digital transformation, sustainable building technologies, data analytics
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years in Buildings and Infrastructure sector, technical consulting, project management, business development

Primary Functions

  • Develop and implement country specific B&I product line strategy
  • Align local objectives with global Bureau Veritas vision
  • Drive innovation in testing, inspection, and certification services
  • Contribute to rapid growth through major contracts with key customers
  • Implement new business models and generate profitable contracts
  • Identify market expansion opportunities and develop strategic customer relationships
  • Manage proposal approvals and support business development
  • Optimum utilization of human resources, performance monitoring, and appraisal
  • Update quality procedures and liaise between top management and subordinates
  • Ensure quality assurance and budgetary control
  • Ensure technical quality and compliance
  • Develop and train team members

Technical Expertise

  • Manage the operational PL team of the country
  • Follow up financial operational results: budget control, performance monitoring, revenue growth tracking, cost optimization, financial reporting, OCF, margins
  • Implement knowledge management practices
  • Provide technical advice and act as project manager when required
