Role Description
Full-time, on-site Electrical BIM Modeller role based in Dubai.
Create and update detailed BIM models for electrical systems and coordinate them with architecture, structure, and MEP designs.
Translate construction drawings and design specifications into accurate 3D models.
Perform clash detection, maintain model standards, and prepare documentation and construction outputs.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers and support design reviews.
- Prepare model outputs and drawings for construction and installation.
- Maintain project timelines, quality standards, and compliance with local codes and regulations.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience as a BIM Modeller or similar role in construction, engineering, or consulting.
- Experience with MEP coordination and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Ability to interpret and develop detailed construction drawings into 3D models.
- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related technical field.
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in BIM tools and processes for electrical systems.
- Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, or similar BIM tools.
- Familiarity with BIM standards, local building codes, and electrical design best practices.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Professional BIM certifications are advantageous.
Work Arrangement
- The role is based on site in Dubai.
