Overview

  • WE ARE HIRING: Bid Management Manager
  • Are you a strategic proposal leader who thrives on turning complex technical requirements into winning, commercially sound bids?
  • We are seeking a highly experienced Bid Management Manager to lead and coordinate our end to end bid and proposal process for strategic, large scale opportunities.
  • In this role, you will be the central anchor of our major pursuit teams—partnering closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, Operations, and Technical experts to design winning value propositions and ensure absolute compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the Bid Lifecycle: Manage the full proposal journey from initial qualification (Go/No Go) to final executive sign off and timely submission.
  • Commercial & Risk Strategy: Partner with finance and operations to ensure pricing models, commercial terms, and risk mitigation strategies are tightly aligned and approved.
  • Win Theme Development: Identify key market differentiators and translate complex technical capabilities into clear, customer focused value propositions.
  • Drafting & Document Quality: Oversee proposal structure, messaging, and overall editorial quality to ensure absolute consistency and professionalism.
  • Library Management: Build and maintain a high quality repository of reusable content, templates, and bid best practices.
  • Executive Advisory: Present bid strategies, financial summaries, and risk assessments directly to senior leadership.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven Track Record: 5 to 10+ years of dedicated experience managing large scale, strategic bids (RFPs, RFQs, ITTs).
  • Domain Experience: Strong background bidding within complex technology, infrastructure, systems integration, or consulting environments.
  • Project Management Mastery: Exceptional ability to run multiple high stakes, deadline driven bids in parallel without sacrificing quality.
  • Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of commercial project costing, pricing strategies, and contract governance.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Credentials: APMP (Association of Proposal Management Professionals) certification or equivalent is highly advantageous.

How Success Is Measured

  • Bid win rates and conversion ratios.
  • 100% on time, compliant, and zero defect submissions.
  • High qualitative feedback on executive reviews.
  • Optimization of bid process efficiency and reuse of proposal libraries.
