About the Role
Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort is hiring a Bartender to serve guests in accordance with luxury hospitality standards. Responsibilities include bar setup, cocktail preparation, and maintaining cleanliness.

Responsibilities
- Serve guests in accordance with Anantara World Islands Dubai standards of food and beverage quality, presentation and sanitation.
- Professionally set up bar at the start of opening, including liquor, icing, glassware, juices and garnishes.
- Process drink orders in proper calling order, check for correct number of drinks and manage billing quickly and efficiently.
- Make all cocktails in accordance with Anantara World Islands Dubai standard beverage manual, using full standard measures.
- Manage security in the work area and not leave the bar area unless properly relieved.
- Assist with cleanup mopping floors, removal of cans and bottles, general cleaning of rails and counters, removal of melting ice in bins.
Requirements
- High School diploma
- Previous experience in Food & Beverage/Restaurant operations
- Passion for excellent service
- Excellent team player
- English speaking

Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve guests in accordance with Anantara World Islands Dubai standards of food and beverage quality, presentation and sanitation.
- Display the best of national hospitality and professionalism with guests.
- Take pride in all facets of service, quality, appearance and cleanliness.
- Understand and adhere to Beverage Department Standard Operating Procedures.
- Professionally set up bar at the start of opening, including liquor, icing, glassware, juices and garnishes.
- Process drink orders in proper calling order, check for correct number of drinks and manage billing quickly and efficiently.
- Make all cocktails in accordance with Anantara World Islands Dubai standard beverage manual, using full standard measures.
- Receive and check liquor against previous shift’s requisitions; report discrepancies to Bar Supervisor.
- Manage security in the work area and not leave the bar area unless properly relieved.
- Assist with cleanup mopping floors, removal of cans and bottles, general cleaning of rails and counters, removal of melting ice in bins.
Qualifications
- High School diploma.
- Previous experience in Food & Beverage/Restaurant operations.
- Passion for excellent service.
- Excellent team player.
- English speaking.
