Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in the restaurant in a warm and friendly manner
- Maintain professional telephone etiquette and understand reservation policies and procedures
- Ensure the front of the restaurant is always covered and the entrance is welcoming
- Check each table for cleanliness and setup before seating guests
- Check with guests for feedback and resolve any issues promptly
- Assist with service and relieve cashiers on break as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Hostess preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, positive and approachable
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in hospitality or guest relations is preferred

Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Work as a team with colleagues to ensure timely service and smooth operation.
- Understand and adhere to all hotel policies and Standard Operating Procedures regarding guest service, operation, and personal discipline and grooming.
- Perform every guest interaction in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Maintain professional telephone etiquette and a perfect understanding of reservation policies and procedures.
- Be completely familiar with the services offered in the restaurant and throughout the hotel.
- Greet and seat guests in the restaurant in a warm and friendly manner, setting the tone of welcoming hospitality.
- Ensure the front of the restaurant is always covered and the entrance is welcoming and attractive.
- Check each table to ensure it is clean and fully set up before seating guests.
- Check with guests to get feedback on the quality of their experience; share problems with outlet managers but try to resolve at once.
- Pitch in and help in service whenever the need arises.
- Work with the Cashier and relieve Cashiers on break.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Hostess preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, positive and approachable.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in hospitality or guest relations is preferred.
