- **Job Description*** Supervise daily barista operations to ensure high-quality coffee, espresso-based beverages, teas and specialty drinks are prepared and served in accordance with hotel standards.
- Lead and support the barista team to deliver courteous, professional and efficient service, ensuring excellent guest satisfaction.
- Oversee guest interactions, ensuring orders are handled accurately and positive guest relations are maintained at all times.
- Ensure beverage presentation standards are consistently met, including latte art and signature drink preparation where required.
- Drive sales through effective upselling of outlet offerings, daily specials and signature beverages.
- Monitor cleanliness and hygiene standards of the coffee station, equipment and service areas at all times.
- Supervise the proper operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of espresso machines, grinders and related equipment.
- Ensure all team members follow hotel safety, sanitation and food allergy awareness procedures.
- Monitor stock levels, coordinate replenishment and assist in daily preparation to ensure smooth operations.
- Train, motivate and guide barista team members while maintaining a positive “Yes I Can” service attitude and strong teamwork culture.
- **Qualifications*** Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Barista, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role within a 4-star or 5-star hotel or upscale café.
- Strong knowledge of coffee beans, espresso extraction and various brewing techniques.
- Skilled in preparing espresso-based beverages, specialty coffees and premium teas to high presentation standards.
- Ability to perform latte art and ensure consistency in taste, texture and appearance across the team.
- Excellent guest service and leadership skills with a warm, engaging and professional personality.
- Strong communication skills in English; additional languages will be an advantage.
- Well-groomed appearance in line with luxury hospitality standards.
- Good understanding of food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards (HACCP knowledge preferred).
- Ability to supervise and motivate a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong upselling skills and ability to train team members in promoting signature beverages and outlet offerings.
- Team player with a positive attitude, leadership qualities and willingness to learn and grow.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems, cash handling and daily outlet reporting procedures.
- Ability to handle guest concerns professionally and support smooth daily operations.
- Age between 22–35 years preferred.
- Female candidates are preferred.
