Role Overview
Prepare high-quality specialty coffees and non-alcoholic beverages in a luxury café.
Deliver exceptional guest service while maintaining bar cleanliness.
Work locations include Laysen Valley and Via Riyadh.
Compensation and Benefits
- Monthly salary is SAR 2,300 to SAR 2,800.
- Benefits include a free duty meal, shared accommodation, and transportation to and from work.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare specialty espresso beverages, pour-overs, and cold brews following brand standards and recipes.
- Adjust grind size, dose, and extraction parameters to optimize coffee flavor throughout shifts.
- Texture dairy and plant-based milks to ideal microfoam temperatures and execute neat latte art.
- Prepare signature non-alcoholic drinks and mocktails using fresh ingredients and house-made syrups.
- Follow HACCP guidelines, prevent allergen cross-contamination, monitor ingredient temperatures, and log safety data.
- Keep the coffee bar clean, backflush espresso machines, sanitize equipment, and perform deep cleaning.
- Practice FIFO inventory rotation, track ingredient shelf life, and complete opening and closing shift checklists.
Qualifications
- Minimum 12 months of experience in a fast-paced specialty coffee environment or café setting.
- Basic knowledge of espresso extraction variables, proper milk steaming techniques, and specialty coffee preparation.
- Genuine enthusiasm for coffee origins and a strong desire to develop barista skills.
- Customer-focused attitude.
