Job Title

  • Barista \| Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment \| Operations

Role Summary

  • The role of the Barista is to maintain the standard and quality of the hot and cold beverages. Receive beverage orders and serve beverages and food orders to guest tables according to restaurant specifications, courteously and efficiently.

Role Profile

  • Deliver prompt, friendly, and personalized guest service while ensuring timely and accurate order delivery.
  • Demonstrate strong product knowledge of food, drinks, and preparation standards to enhance guest experience and sales.
  • Perform quality checks on all food and beverages before service and maintain cleanliness of the bar and surrounding areas.
  • Support management by reporting issues, adhering to operational standards, and ensuring a superior daily service level.
  • Manage costs by accurate pouring, minimizing waste, and following standard recipes and inventory procedures.
  • Maintain full knowledge of restaurant layout, service procedures, menu items, beverages, and presentation standards.
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards to drive customer satisfaction and achieve positive NPS results.
  • Remain flexible with working hours, assist with ad hoc tasks, and demonstrate competency in service quality and KPI delivery.

Requirements

  • Experience Required: 0–1 year in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant or customer-facing environment.
  • Education & Qualifications: Certificate, course, or diploma in Hospitality (or equivalent experience) plus Person In Charge (PIC) 2 certification.
  • Demonstrates excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic, and approachable demeanor.
  • Maintains strong attention to detail, speed, and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Exhibits sound judgment, integrity, and professionalism in guest interactions and teamwork.
  • Adapts well to dynamic service environments while upholding hospitality standards.
