Role description
The Baker role is full-time and on-site in Jeddah.
The Baker prepares, mixes, and bakes bread, cookies, and other baked products according to established recipes and standards.
Responsibilities
- Measure ingredients, mix doughs and batters, and prepare baked products.
- Operate baking equipment and monitor oven temperatures.
- Maintain product freshness, visual appeal, consistency, and quality.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow food safety guidelines.
- Organize ingredient inventory and support the team during peak production times.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute ideas for new products or improvements.
Qualifications
- Strong practical bakery and baking skills with experience producing consistent, high-quality baked goods.
- Hands-on food preparation experience, including measuring ingredients, mixing, and handling doughs and batters.
- Ability to prepare cookies, bread, and other products according to recipes and production schedules.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, including safe storage and handling of ingredients.
- Attention to detail, time-management skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work early shifts, weekends, or holidays as needed.
- Previous commercial bakery or food production experience is highly beneficial.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and operate baking equipment safely.
