Role overview
Alignerr is seeking back-end developers to build server-side systems and APIs for AI products.
The work includes data pipelines, model-serving infrastructure, and scalable microservices handling real-world traffic.
The role is a fully remote, flexible contract position with a commitment of 10–40 hours per week.
What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain back-end services, APIs, and data pipelines.
- Build high-performance architecture for AI training and inference workloads.
- Write clean, documented, and testable code.
- Integrate databases, message queues, cloud services, and third-party APIs.
- Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Collaborate asynchronously with distributed engineers, researchers, and product leads.
- Troubleshoot production issues, conduct code reviews, and contribute to architecture decisions.
- Work independently on task-based and project-based assignments.
Who you are
- Proficient in one or more back-end languages, including Python, Go, Java, Node.js, Rust, or a similar language.
- Understand RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
