The Role & Key Responsibilities

  • Support the onboarding of fund, SPV and corporate structures, including coordination of documentation, KYC/AML requirements, and internal approvals.
  • Act as a central point of coordination between clients, internal teams, and external service providers (legal, auditors, banks, sharia advisors)
  • Assist in structuring discussions for open-ended and closed-ended funds, corporate vehicles and special purpose structures.
  • Support the development and refinements of Apex s regional service offerings, including fund administration, corporate services, governance, and family office solutions
  • Track pipeline activity and support internal coordination to progress opportunities from initial discussion through onboarding.

Skills Required

  • At least 2-3 years plus experience preferably in fund administration, corporate services, professional services, consulting or financial services, preferably in a client-facing or onboarding role.
  • Understanding of fund and corporate structures, including open-ended funds, closed-ended funds (PE/VC), SPVs, and holding companies
  • Exposure to client onboarding, KYC/AML processes, and regulatory documentation.
  • Experience supporting proposals, RFPs, or client pitches is strongly preferred.
  • Interest in or exposure to Islamic finance and Sharia-compliant structures is an advantage.
  • Strong PC skills including Word, Excel and Macros in Excel (Experience is required).
  • Proactive and willing to drive things forward.
  • An ability to work to and meet agreed deadlines.
  • Flexible in work approach due to nature of the role to meet client deliverables.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a pressurised environment.
  • Capacity to problem-solve and ability to deal with complex issues.
  • A participative management style that aims to motivate staff and develop their skills and capabilities.
