Responsibilities
- Install, terminate, and test low voltage and AV cabling for displays, projectors, audio systems, conferencing solutions, and related networked devices
- Read and interpret technical drawings and layouts
- Route and label cables, mount AV equipment, and ensure neat, standards compliant installations
- Diagnose and resolve cabling and AV equipment issues
- Perform regular checks and assist with system configuration under guidance of senior engineers
- Interact with customers and project stakeholders on site, provide basic user guidance when needed
- Complete all installation documentation, reports, and handover notes accurately and on time
Requirements
- Strong cabling skills including installation, termination, testing, and labeling of AV and low voltage cables
- Proficiency in troubleshooting AV and connectivity issues
- Basic understanding of AV systems (displays, projectors, audio, conferencing), network fundamentals, and related hardware
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings, rack elevations, and cable schedules
- Comfort working on ladders, lifts, and in ceiling or confined spaces, following safety guidelines
- Prior experience in AV installation, structured cabling, or low voltage electrical work preferred
- Relevant technical certification or diploma in electronics, IT, telecommunications, or related field is an advantage
- Ability to work on site in Dubai and adapt to dynamic project schedules

Role Description
- This is a full time, on site AV Cabling/Installation Technicians role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The technician will install, terminate, and test low voltage and AV cabling for displays, projectors, audio systems, conferencing solutions, and related networked devices.
