AV BGM Lighting Control Engineer

Job Purpose

System Operation and Maintenance

• Monitor and operate AV, BGM, and lighting control systems.
• Monitor system performance, alarms, and faults.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Troubleshoot audio systems, speakers, amplifiers, displays, projectors, control panels, and lighting controllers.
• Attend breakdowns and resolve issues within the required response time.

AV, BGM, and Lighting Systems

• Maintain displays, projectors, sound systems, microphones, speakers, amplifiers, and control systems.
• Support AV requirements for meetings, events, and operational activities.
• Monitor audio quality and system performance.
• Operate and maintain lighting control systems and associated controllers.
• Monitor lighting schedules and support programming and adjustments when required.

FM Coordination and Handover

• Coordinate with facilities management teams, clients, contractors, and vendors.
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Complete maintenance activities according to approved procedures and schedules.

Documentation and Compliance

• Maintain maintenance records, system logs, service reports, equipment records, and technical documentation.
• Prepare reports on faults, breakdowns, and corrective actions.
• Follow company HSE policies, procedures, standards, and safe working practices.
• Report safety incidents and system-related risks.

Education and Experience

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, AV Technology, Automation, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in AV, BGM, lighting control, or facilities management.
• Relevant certifications in AV, BGM, lighting control, or automation systems are preferred.

Experience and Skills

• Good knowledge of AV systems, audio equipment, and lighting control systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of control systems and communication protocols is an advantage.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and respond to emergency breakdowns.
