- Prepare and mask vehicle surfaces for painting to ensure a smooth finish
- Mix and match paints to achieve precise color specifications and customer requirements
- Apply primer, basecoat, and clearcoat using spray equipment
- Conduct inspection of finished work to ensure quality and adherence to company standards
- Perform minor repairs on vehicle surfaces as needed prior to painting
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring proper functioning and cleanliness of the workspace
- Collaborate with mechanics and team members to ensure timely completion of jobs
Requirements
- Proven experience as an auto painter or in a related field, preferably in a vehicle repair workshop
- Solid understanding of painting techniques, color theory, and application methods
- Attention to detail and the ability to achieve high quality finishes
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
