- Ensure compliance with IFRS / IFRS for SMEs, disclosure requirements, and presentation standards
- Perform high level analytical reviews and assess material accounting judgments, estimates, and key disclosures
- Identify misstatements, technical issues, and areas requiring adjustment or enhancement
- Ensure client files are audit ready and defensible for external auditors and regulators
- Provide clear, structured review notes and technical guidance to engagement teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional qualification (CA / ACCA / CPA / ACA)
- 4 7 years of experience in audit and financial statement review
- Strong technical expertise in IFRS, financial reporting, and professional review methodologies
- Proven experience reviewing accounts prepared by accounting teams or third party service providers

Role Overview

- Lead the review of financial statements and accounting records prepared for accounting clients.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS / IFRS for SMEs, disclosure requirements, and presentation standards.
- Perform high level analytical reviews and assess material accounting judgments, estimates, and key disclosures.
- Identify misstatements, technical issues, and areas requiring adjustment or enhancement.
- Apply professional review and audit methodologies to assess the quality and reliability of client accounts.
- Ensure client files are audit ready and defensible for external auditors and regulators.
- Provide clear, structured review notes and technical guidance to engagement teams.
- Ensure proper documentation of review procedures, conclusions, and sign offs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of internal review processes and quality standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional qualification (CA / ACCA / CPA / ACA)
- 4–7 years of experience in audit and financial statement review.
- Strong technical expertise in IFRS, financial reporting, and professional review methodologies.
- Proven experience reviewing accounts prepared by accounting teams or third party service providers.
- High level of professional judgement, leadership capability, and attention to detail.
