- Manage a portfolio of clients, including day to day client liaison and technical issues management
- Develop business development activities and build strong client relationships

Requirements
- Degree in accounting, finance or related field
- Minimum 8 10 years of professional experience in external financial audit in Big 4
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, ACA, CPA
- Experience auditing banking clients
- Knowledge of IFRS 9 and IFRS 17
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English (oral and written) is a plus
- Strong project management skills
- Knowledge of audit technologies and data analytics tools

How You’ll Contribute
- Assist proactively in management of a portfolio of clients, responsible for day to day client liaison and technical issues management.
- Responsible for business development activities to identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients.
- Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges and contribute to technical acumen development.
- Assist in managing and delivering large projects, ensuring key deadlines are met.
- Act in charge of designing audit strategy and managing audit execution in alignment with engagement leader guidance.
- Manage client relations with senior management, including delivering presentations to board of directors and audit committees.
- Ensure adherence to compliance with risk, quality and independence matters.
- Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues.
- Responsible for coaching, mentoring and development of team members.
- Encourage involvement in digital initiatives and use of audit transformation technologies.
- Participate in recruitment process for interviewing and selecting candidates.
What You’ll Bring
- A degree in accounting, finance or other related academic major.
- Minimum of 8 10 years of professional experience in external financial audit in one of the big 4.
- Completed a recognised professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, ACA, CPA.
- Experience in auditing Banking clients is a must.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English (oral and written) is a plus.
- Applying ISAs on external audit of financial services with profound IFRS knowledge relevant to FS practice (IFRS9, IFRS17).
- Strong project management skills and experience managing an audit from planning to completion.
- Confidence in challenging yourself and others to complete high quality testing and documentation.
- Ability to establish and nurture positive relationships across all levels.
- Driving innovative thinking and supporting others through change and uncertainty.
- Experience encouraging a team environment that promotes collaboration and constructive challenge.
