About the Role
A public transport operator seeks an FP&A professional for a 4-month contract (extendable to permanent). The role involves Holdco-level payment processing, month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, and audit support.

Responsibilities
- Manage Holdco level payment processing (~10 payments/month)
- Process month end journal entries, accruals, provisions, expense allocations within the ERP system
- Prepare and process recharge debit notes to subsidiaries
- Support subsidiary finance teams on monthly reporting requirements
- Assist with monthly closing activities and review of financial information
- Perform variance analysis (Actual vs Budget) with subsidiary finance teams
- Coordinate with subsidiaries to collect financial and operational data
- Prepare monthly MIS presentations and management reporting packs
- Consolidate data and ensure consistency across reporting submissions
- Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process
- Review subsidiary budget submissions and perform reasonableness checks
- Assist in preparing budget review materials for management
Requirements
- Qualified Accountant — ACCA, ACA, or equivalent with Big Four audit background preferred
- Strong financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with ERP and group reporting environments
- Candidates currently residing in the UAE with a valid residency visa or NOC

What you'll own
- Manage Holdco level payment processing (~10 payments/month)
- Process month end journal entries, accruals, provisions, expense allocations within the ERP system

Financial Reporting & Close
- Support subsidiary finance teams on monthly reporting requirements
- Assist with monthly closing activities and review of financial information
- Perform variance analysis (Actual vs Budget) with subsidiary finance teams
Management Reporting
- Coordinate with subsidiaries to collect financial and operational data
- Prepare monthly MIS presentations and management reporting packs
- Consolidate data and ensure consistency across reporting submissions
Budgeting & Planning
- Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process
- Review subsidiary budget submissions and perform reasonableness checks
- Assist in preparing budget review materials for management
Audit Support
- Assist with external audit and review engagements
- Coordinate information requests between auditors and subsidiary finance teams
- Support preparation of audit schedules and reconciliations
What you bring
- Qualified Accountant — ACCA, ACA, or equivalent with Big Four audit background preferred
- Strong financial reporting, Budgeting, forecasting and stakeholder management skills, exp. with ERP and group reporting environments.
