Associate Wet Utility Engineer

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Lead wet utility system design and implementation across infrastructure projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and technical evaluations.
• Prepare engineering designs, drawings, specifications, reports, proposals, and documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to support project success.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
• Conduct site visits to verify adherence to design philosophy and intent.

Skills and experience

• Bring 10+ years of relevant experience in mobility planning and multidisciplinary urban development or infrastructure projects.
• Hold a master’s degree or equivalent in planning or civil engineering.
• Have extensive experience with wet utilities, including water supply, wastewater, and stormwater systems.
• Be proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydraulic modelling tools.
• Understand local regulations, standards, and best practices for wet utilities.
• Demonstrate analytical, problem-solving, project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Be able to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
