Role overview

The Technology Quality Assurance team provides enterprise-wide testing services using functional, automation, performance, and data testing expertise.

The team supports web, mobile, API, and data platforms in an Agile delivery model with an automation-first approach.

Core responsibilities

  • Develop and execute functional and automation tests.
  • Support web, mobile, data, and API testing initiatives.
  • Build and maintain automation frameworks.
  • Create test scenarios and acceptance tests.
  • Perform performance test scripting and execution.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries.
  • Validate software quality throughout development.

Strategic and collaboration duties

  • Contribute to continuous improvement and identify testing opportunities across platforms.
  • Apply AI-enabled testing practices and evaluate AI-generated outputs.
  • Collaborate with developers, testers, and deployment teams.
  • Manage defects to resolution, document findings, and support root-cause analysis.

Experience and education

  • Candidates should have 2–5 years of software testing experience.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
  • Financial services or investment banking experience is preferred.
  • Exposure to data quality solutions is beneficial.

Technical qualifications

  • Strong automation testing experience with Playwright, Selenium, WebdriverIO, or Codecept.js.
  • Experience with Python or JavaScript testing frameworks, API testing, data testing, and performance testing.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Oracle databases.
  • Knowledge of LoadRunner or JMeter is required, with ICEDQ familiarity beneficial.
  • Understanding of Agile delivery principles and software development and testing life cycles.

  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams with a continuous learning and responsible AI-use mindset.

Work schedule

  • The work shift is 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST.
