Role overview

Frontend engineering

• Build scalable React applications using functional components, hooks, component design patterns, and modern React architecture.
• Develop responsive and accessible interfaces with API integration, server-side rendering concepts, and component-driven development.
• Implement micro frontend architecture with Module Federation and independent deployment models.
• Apply TypeScript, JavaScript ES6+, frontend design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean code practices.
• Optimize performance through lazy loading, code splitting, bundle optimization, and Web Vitals.

Testing and delivery tools

• Use Jest, Playwright, and React Testing Library for test-driven development and automation testing.
• Work with Git or Bitbucket, package managers, Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, and JIRA.
• Support deployment and hosting architectures involving CDNs, Apache, Nginx, OpenShift, and web package deployment strategies.
• Use AppDynamics, ELK, or equivalent frontend monitoring solutions.

AI-assisted development

• Use Generative AI development tools such as Gemini CLI, Claude Code, and Claude CLI to improve productivity and code quality.
• Apply AI tools to code generation, refactoring, unit testing, API development, documentation, code review, troubleshooting, and performance analysis.
• Validate AI-generated code and perform security, compliance, prompt engineering, debugging, maintainability, and governance activities.

Candidate requirements

• Minimum of 4+ years of hands-on frontend development experience with scalable enterprise web applications.
• Experience in banking, payments, FinTech, or high-volume transaction processing systems.
• Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud-native application development.
• Ability to contribute to frontend architecture, coding standards, engineering practices, mentoring, and code reviews.
• Strong ownership, user experience, accessibility, reliability, observability, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Engineering productivity or AI-driven development contributions are highly valued.
• AngularJS migration experience and mobile application exposure are advantageous.
