Role Overview
ABB is seeking an Associate Project Engineer for its Automation and Energy Industries business in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The role supports engineering activities under the supervision of senior engineers and contributes to projects of varying sizes and complexities.
The work model is onsite and the role interacts with customers, contractors, suppliers, project managers, and engineering colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Perform surveys, standard computations, analysis, and basic engineering design tasks.
- Prepare project documentation and apply standard methods within assigned deliverables.
- Assist customers with technical issues and support communication for assignments and meetings.
- Participate in workshops covering engineering design, tools, and processes.
- Coordinate with commissioning and service functions and update deliverables after installation when applicable.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of automation systems.
- Degree in Engineering.
- 0–2 years of related experience.
- Ability to communicate in English and Arabic with internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders.
