Role Overview
Lead software quality engineering for AspenTech operational technology products supporting engineering, manufacturing, and asset optimization.
Create and execute testing approaches while developing low-maintenance, portable test automation.
Assure product lines conform to established requirements and standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise team members and provide guidance on tasks, performance, and career development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams in an agile environment.
- Lead requirements analysis, test strategy development, test case execution, troubleshooting, and defect reporting.
- Design, build, execute, and maintain API, UI, and non-functional test automation.
- Use CI/CD pipelines to build, configure, and patch multiple test environments.
- Lead complex manual functional and non-functional tests.
- Gather requirements, information, and data to improve quality practices with R&D and Product Management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3-8 years of work experience.
