Key Responsibilities
- Resolve margin disputes and margin call accuracy issues with Credit, Legal, Compliance, XVA, Front Office, Middle Office, and Margining teams.
- Handle client queries, issues, and complaints within established policies and procedures.
- Participate in business prioritization, UAT testing, and post-implementation verification.
- Process daily margin operations and book margin movements in the collateral management system.
- Reconcile initial margin exposure and trade sensitivities in Acadiasoft or Blazer.
- Improve daily processing efficiency and challenge existing processes and controls.
Risk and Governance
- Meet margining and portfolio reconciliation requirements under Dodd-Frank, EMIR, HKMA, and other applicable regulations.
- Maintain current policies, controls, and procedures according to company and industry standards.
- Write up DOI documentation and participate in process deep-dive reviews.
- Participate in business continuity events including disaster recovery drills and call tree tests.
- Identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk, conduct, compliance, and non-policy issues.
People and Stakeholders
- Train newcomers and other teams on margin operations using tailored training.
- Raise concerns and risks to relevant stakeholders, including Management, Operational Risk, and Credit Risk.
- Collaborate with Margin Operations, Regulatory Operations, Securities Operations, Technology, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Operational Risk teams.
- Perform other responsibilities assigned under group, country, business, or functional policies and procedures.
