About the Role

Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and review of Fire & Life Safety strategies, reports, and drawings.
- Manage FLS projects from concept through construction, ensuring quality, budget, and programme compliance.
- Coordinate with clients, design teams, and approving authorities.
- Lead performance based fire engineering studies, including smoke modelling and evacuation analysis where required.
- Mentor junior engineers and undertake technical reviews.
- Support proposals, fee estimates, and business development activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, company QA/QC procedures, and industry best practices.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients.
- Attend client/Civil Defense meetings, workshops, and design coordination meetings.
- Liaise with Civil Defence Authorities and other approving bodies.
- Support authority submissions and address review comments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline (Master's preferred)
- 10+ years of Fire & Life Safety consultancy experience
- Strong knowledge of NFPA, IBC, IFC, UAE Fire Code, Saudi Building Code, and other relevant standards
- Experience with performance based fire engineering and authority approvals in the Middle East is desirable
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent preferred
- Member of IFE, SFPE, SCE or equivalent preferred
- NFPA CFPS, CFPE, or other relevant professional certifications desirable
