About This Opportunity
The position is Associate Director and Team Leader for Cost Management in Doha, Qatar.
The role provides pre- and post-contract quantity surveying services for construction and facilities management packages supporting a major development.
The position covers buildings and real estate operations and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver pre- and post-contract cost management services and advise on facilities management procurement strategies.
- Manage commissions, client relationships, and service delivery in accordance with company procedures.
- Provide senior representation at client meetings when required.
- Deliver cost planning, estimating, value engineering, and bills of quantities.
- Prepare tender documentation, manage tender processes, and produce client reports.
- Advise directors on project issues.
Experience and Skills
- MRICS Chartered and MMUP Grade A qualifications are required.
- At least 15 years of postgraduate quantity surveying experience, including 10 years in the GCC and Qatar.
- At least 5 years of experience on an infrastructure project exceeding US$100 million.
- Experience with building projects, major mixed-use developments, procurement strategies, tendering, and contract strategies.
- Strong team leadership and clear written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications
- A degree in quantity surveying or an appropriate engineering degree is required.
- MRICS or equivalent chartered status is required.
- Fluent written and verbal English is required.
