The Team An Associate Director (AD, Fund Operations) is expected to play a senior leadership role within the Knowledge Services Practice at A&M . He is expected to lead private equity fund operations engagements across fund accounting oversight, investor reporting, capital activity, and management company support. The role bridges execution and leadership— ensuring high-quality delivery, strengthening client relationships, and building a scalable, control-oriented PE knowledge services capability How you will contribute Lead delivery of large or strategically important PE fund operations engagements Review and approve key outputs including capital calls, distributions, fee schedules, investor reporting packs, and audit/tax support materials Serve as the primary point of contact for PE fund team, fund finance teams, and senior stakeholders Drive quality, controls, and consistency across fund operations processes and reporting cycles Manage third-party administrator review, reconciliations, and issue resolution Coach and develop Managers, Associates, and Analysts across technical and client-facing responsibilities Build knowledge through SOPs, templates, controls, and training programs Support practice growth by identifying adjacent service opportunities within PE Knowledge Services Ensure adherence to quality, confidentiality, ethical, and professional standards Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher; CA/CPA/MBA/CFA preferred 9 –14 years of experience in PE fund operations, PE fund administration, or sponsor-focused outsourced finance support Strong understanding of PE fund structures, capital flows, fee mechanics, close cycles, and investor reporting Deep expertise in fund operations review, reconciliations, reporting, and stakeholder management Excellent communication and leadership skills in fast-paced, high-expectation environments Your journey at A&M We recognize that our people are the driving force behind our success, which is why we prioritize an employee experience that fosters each person’s unique professional and personal development.
