Responsibilities
- Advise at a strategic level at the project conception stage, including providing cost advice on different approaches
- Develop cost plans and contract documentation including budgetary estimates, bills of quantities and cost optional studies
- Prepare tender documentation, evaluate, and prepare tender reports, review contractor valuations
- Motivate team members and drive towards positive client outcomes and meet deadlines
- Critically analyse, challenge and brainstorm project requirements and deliverables to find creative solutions
- Take line management responsibility as required and advise upon procurement of resources
- Manage the flow of project information between the team and the client through regular meetings and written communications
- Ensure the production of formal project progress and other reports
- Take a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants at all project stages
- Take responsibility for developing new business opportunities with existing and new clients
Requirements
- Experience in cost management across all aspects from feasibility studies to final account close out
- Ability to advise at a strategic level at project conception stage
- Experience developing cost plans and contract documentation including budgetary estimates, bills of quantities
- Experience preparing tender documentation, evaluating, and preparing tender reports
- Strong leadership and team motivation skills
- Ability to manage flow of project information between team and client
- Experience in developing new business opportunities

Job Overview
